Arizona Says YES to Global Wellness Day!
Global Wellness Day was founded by Belgin Aksoy to celebrate ways to promote wellbeing. With the slogan “One day can change your whole life,” we celebrate Global Wellness Day on the second Saturday of June every year as an international day dedicated to living well.”
On June 13, 2016 Over 100 countries and 3,000 locations worldwide celebrated Global Wellness Day with us! In 2015, the Global Wellness Day message reached 100 million people. In 2016, GWD reached 250 million people promoting global health, prevention and wellbeing.
Global Wellness Day is an entirely not-for-profit day, a social platform created by volunteers dedicated to living well. Wellness Day which brings together exercise, healthy eating and spiritual teachings, is a social movement that will raise awareness of living well throughout the world. It is a step that can ignite the flame of happiness burning throughout the world. It is a special opportunity to bring together the wellness world in a sacred mission.
“All of us would like to be healthier, to look better, and to live well both physically and spiritually. Living well is almost the entire world’s shared dream.” ~ Belgin Aksoy
As everything that is precious to us has been honored with a special day, why is it that we don’t have a special global day dedicated to the only thing which is really valuable to all of us, that is, living well? We can now answer this question by saying “it now exists”. This special day is called Global Wellness Day.
We are thrilled and can’t wait to celebrate Global Wellness Day in 2017!
