Kirk Gregor, Spa Director at DMB Sports, Gainey Village Health Clubs and Spas will be presenting a session on The Crazy, Complex World of AZ Spa Licensing. His presentation will be an Interactive Discussion on the complexities of Licensing a Spa in Arizona.

Kirk has been working with the Arizona Spa & Wellness Association since it was formed in 2012. He has been steadfast in his commitment to the Association’s evolution and growth. We are excited to have his leadership and constant support for Arizona’s spa and wellness market.
He began his career in the Spa industry as a Coordinator at the Spa at Camelback Inn in 1990 where he eventually became Operations Manager. In 1999 he began working for DMB Sports assisting with the opening of the Gainey Village Health Club and Spa. In 2001 he was named Spa Director.
He left the position in 2005 to form The Ambage with several other spa professionals. He managed the Spa at Rancho Manana on behalf of the Ambage for two years. In 2007 he joined the pre-opening team at the Joya Spa at the Montelucia Resort and Spa where he worked with Sabrina Cormack to develop that project for two years. In 2010 Kirk returned to the Gainey Village where he is currently Spa Director.
He has been on the advisory board for the Arizona State University Spa Certification Program and has taught various aspects of Spa Management at Pima Medical Institute, Phoenix Therapeutic Massage College, Cortiva Institute and Southwest Institute of Healing Arts.
